Jay is special because of his flexibility and diligence. There was a night in Med-Surg 3 that we were very short-staffed. EVS was short-staffed as well. I will never forget how quickly Jay sprang into action. Jay was charging that day, but he worked every angle as he saw we needed it. He helped clean rooms and fulfilled other EVS tasks. He also assisted the techs with their duties and completed duties as a secretary when needed. He did not sit that day. Jay wore every hat to make the team better and help in every way. Not only is this inspiring, but it's extraordinary.
