Jaya Surendran, RN

Jaya works in the bronchoscopy room at Henry Ford Hospital, and she was nominated for the DAISY Award by the wife of a patient who commended Jaya for not only sensing how upset she was at her husband’s illness but for immediately addressing her concerns with compassion and empathy. Jaya is known for her exceptional nursing skills, kindness, helpfulness, compassion, positivity, and humor. Thank you, Jaya, for all you give to your profession and your patients.
