Jaya, since she became a full-time employee in 1999, has always been known for her high standard of care while providing care to patients. During this COVID crisis, she was the perfect role model supporting staff and patients. Time and again she stepped up and took on leadership roles. She is known throughout the hospital for her compassion and is always calm and courteous to patients, families, and staff. Her vast knowledge base, through experience, she readily shares as a mentor. She volunteers and serves on numerous hospital committees. Jaya is a Clinical Ladder 1. RN Varughese emulates warmth, humility, and compassion during her lifelong mission of providing patient care.
