Jayda Williams, RN

I noticed that Jayda Williams was staying over after her shift and already off the clock. I asked her if everything was ok and she replied that she was good, she was just waiting to see if one of her patients was going to be able to be discharged because she wanted to get them an Uber back to their home. The patient had been involved in an accident and had no family or friends in the area. He also had very little money and did not speak English. Jayda wanted to ensure that he was able to be safely transported home after his discharge. With the patient's permission, she was able to secure an Uber for him. Jayda is such a wonderful example of the values behind what the DAISY award represents. She truly is an outstanding role model within the nursing community.
