Jayden Wescoatt 2, RN

I was taking over the patients from Jayden, and at shift change, a pediatric patient began to have a seizure. Jayden was calm and got the doctor to the bedside. The next 2 hours were chaotic and stressful. Jayden stayed long after her shift was over to help with the critical pediatric patient. Jayden also stayed and called to report to Children's Hospital in Omaha, as we were not able to do a shift change report due to the patient having seizures, emergently going to get a CT scan, and needing intubation. Jayden was attentive to not only the patient but also the patient's parents. Jayden is an amazing nurse. Her passion for pediatric patients is easily seen. Her compassion is endless. We are lucky to have Jayden on our team!
