As first-time parents, my wife and I experienced a whirlwind of emotions when our son entered the world — excitement, joy, and a fair amount of fear. The early days were filled with uncertainty, especially as we navigated concerns around his oxygen requirements. It was a stressful and overwhelming time, but through it all, one nurse made a profound impact on our journey: Jayme. From the very first conversation, Jayme demonstrated exceptional compassion, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to both his care and our well-being as new parents. As a fellow RN, I was especially appreciative of her calm expertise and tireless presence. Whether she was responding to alarms, managing feeds and diapers, or juggling care for multiple patients during the night shift, she was always there — attentive, reassuring, and steady.
