Jayne Quinn is the Pain Resource Program Coordinator and is the ultimate transformational leader. When thinking of Jayne the professional attributes of "approachable", "expertise", and "advocate" describe her. She possesses charisma and has the ability to influence others. As the Pain Resource nurse she must, on a daily basis, assess patients in pain, agree on the goals of the patient and professional staff, advocate for patient and family, remain approachable with the collaborative healthcare team, and network to provide and promote effective patient outcomes. She has inspirational motivation with clear vision and strategic focus. I have observed intellectual stimulation of others when asking for their input and challenging nurses to develop creative and innovative solutions utilizing evidence based practice. She provides individual consideration through commitment to coach, mentor, and educate nurses.

As the Pain Resource nurse, she utilizes the core nursing values of advocacy, integrity, innovation, and compassion to prevent barriers to effective pain management. As a nurse educator she promotes exemplary professional practice through her comprehensive understanding of and application of practice relating patients, families, and multidisciplinary team. Working in ambulatory Pain Management I have witnessed Jayne's dedication and enthusiasm and have the pleasure to collaborate regarding patient care. She empowered me to become and ANCC Board Certified in Pain Management.
