Endoscopy Unit

I would like to recognize Mr. Jayson Recile who has been an Endoscopy Specialized Staff Nurse 1 and also assigned to coordinate and to take care of Unit's Stock/Non-Stock Supplies since the Supply Chain Sub Store Project has been implemented throughout the hospital.
His contribution and initiation towards coordinating, communicating and following up on the Special Purchase Requests without compromising patient care (as he is the Unit's resource for Therapeutic Cases as well as Staff Nurse 1 who carries out all his roles and responsibilities) are commendable.
Specifying an incident that happened in the Month of June 2017, in regard to an In-Patient, who required an Endoscopic Procedure. When we were waiting for the right accessory to be available, at the same time, Mr. Jayson himself was scheduled to undergo a therapeutic Endoscopic Procedure during the same time (week).
He re-scheduled his own procedure to another time so that, he was available in the unit to coordinate and collaborate towards efficient patient care; his initiation and support in speeding the process in order to get the accessory that was required to perform the Endoscopy procedure for the patient was very evident and appreciated during this time period.
Because of his great effort, commitment and collaboration with various services and personnel, the Endoscopy Team was able to perform the procedure on time for the patient, which was cost effective as it reduced the patient length of stay, avoided the patient's re-admission, as well as maintaining Safe Quality Patient Care.
Moreover, he is constantly staying late after duty hours and comes on weekends with no paid overtime. He does this just to make sure that all items are ordered and available before patients admissions for procedures.
Thank you, Jayson
