Jasmine treated me with respect and kindness upon waking from being in a coma for five days. She reassured me that I was safe and was going to be okay.
I remember crying when I was told everything that had happened. She told me the worst was over and that I was stronger than I thought. She continued to reassure me that I was going to be okay. I felt helpless and hopeless.
Being a nurse myself, it is never easy being on the other side and needing help. Jasmine cared for me with compassion, made sure I maintained my dignity, and encouraged me every step of the way. She listened whenever I needed to talk and never once made me feel like I was a burden.
She helped me through the worst time in my life, and I want her to know how grateful I am and how much her kindness meant to me.
