I would like to express my profound gratitude to this nurse for being instrumental in saving me from myself during my second night in the hospital. As intrusive thoughts escalated, I pressed the call button just before attempting to self-harm. She responded almost immediately and was right there by my side, calm and composed. She asked me what was wrong with such care, using therapeutic questions to guide me through my distress.

What truly made a difference was when she hugged me tightly while wrapping me in a blanket, reassuring me that she would get help. Then, she looked me directly in the eyes with genuine concern and made me promise not to harm myself while she called the doctor. The trust she placed in me gave me the strength to stay still and wait for the help I needed.

Even as the doctor spoke with me, this nurse stayed by my side, comforting me like a caring "ate." Throughout my hospital stay, she consistently checked on me, always asking how I was doing mentally, reminding me that I was never alone and that I
could reach out anytime.

For her compassion, her care, and for saving me that night, I thank her from the bottom of my heart. I wish her all the best.
