Professor McIvor has demonstrated her caring and compassion for students in the classroom, the clinical setting and through her leadership on the Student Activities Committee. As a Family Nurse Practitioner and Pediatric Nurse educator, Jean has provided her students with a positive role model in the care of children and adults in the hospital and community settings. She always takes an interest in her students and fellow faculty members contributing to excellent faculty – student relationships and faculty – faculty collaborative practice. Professor Jean McIvor is an exemplary educator and outstanding role model.
