When my wife and I first met Nurse Jean Nepomuceno Carlos, she introduced herself as our attending medical provider. Her friendly, bubbly personality lit up the room. From that very moment, she made me feel special and treated me with immense dignity and respect.

I shared with her that, after my heart surgery, I felt like my life had been turned upside down. I didn’t fully understand my new limitations. Could I still enjoy my favorite hot tub? Could I do gardening? Could I remodel like I used to? What was safe and what wasn’t?

I cannot express enough how committed Nurse Jean was to make sure we understood what was or wasn’t a good idea — and why. She walked us through each activity I was concerned about, breaking down the benefits and risks in a way that was clear, thoughtful, and always centered on my well-being. My wife and I could tell that every part of her discussion was focused entirely on what was best for me.

In a way I can’t quite explain, Nurse Jean created an invisible connection of medical understanding between the three of us. Throughout the appointment, it was clear how deeply committed she was to providing accurate, personalized information. She reviewed my medical history, researched past reports, and made sure everything she shared was directly tied to my specific needs.
