Our three-year-old daughter and I were life flighted from Bismarck where we had many issues, traumatic pokes, and failed midline tries. When we had issues in Fargo, JP was asked to help. JP shared his pediatric ER experience and was confident he could help draw successful blood, while keeping my daughter calm. He took time out of his break to bring an ultrasound machine with him, kept her calm, and drew successful blood for labs! My husband and I both cried with happiness and were extremely grateful. Labs needed to be done again the next morning. JP came in three hours early for his shift to come up to 9th floor and help draw another successful and calm lab draw. JP showed up with confidence, care, and kindness when we were literally at our lowest and needed it most. JP was even willing to come in on his day off the next day if we needed, but by then, our daughter had to have a central line surgically put in. Thank you, JP!
