Jean Sanford, RN

This nurse went above and beyond what was expected; she came in during shift change, introduced herself, and assured me to call when I needed her; her demeanor made me feel everything was going to be okay; she consistently checked on me and made sure to explain all the medications. I decided to get up and remove everything without my nurse’s approval. Jean quickly came into the room, made sure I returned to bed safely and educated me on the importance of fall prevention; she was very patient with me and even gave me a coloring book to help me regain my right-side strength. She is one of the best nurses I have received care from, and many other patients would be lucky to have her as their nurse. Even after my discharge, she makes sure I am doing well. I’m so glad to have her as my nurse during my admission to MICU.
