Jeaneen has served OLOLRMC since 2013 in EIC. She has been a nurse for 28 years and has worked alongside many different providers. She has shown over the years how to exemplify everyday excellence.
Let me describe Jeaneen in a few words: compassionate, caring, smart, self-starter, quick-thinker, great organizer, friendly, witty and funny with a whole lot of "southern lingo" on the side.
Jeaneen greets each patient with a bright smile and a warm hello. She takes the time to always listen to them and to help each one feel at ease. In the clinic, patients have many times received a very difficult diagnosis and she has always made them feel comfortable. She plans well and works diligently at being organized while ensuring that our range of information, expertise, and support services can be accessed as soon as possible.
She is known to always "Geaux out of her way" to make each provider comfortable and happy by answering questions or adapting to a new provider and his/her needs; working in another department when its unexpected; performs multiple roles in our clinic including Triage Nurse; contributes to our overall flow of the clinic by assisting other nurses; and is very knowledgeable about our grant rules and operations. She has consistently been one of our "Geaux to nurses".
I'm sure if you were to check with any past or present staff member who has worked with Jeaneen over the years, they will confirm Jeaneen's nursing dedication and would add numerous examples of her exceptional skills, her willingness to accommodate her patients and providers and her clever "mother tongue". It is a demonstration of her dedication for nursing, a highly respected nurse amongst her colleagues, and she has exemplified the ultimate caregiver.
