Jeanette Conrad 2, MSN, RN, CCRN

When I read the characteristics of one who is eligible for The DAISY Award, I instantly think of Jeanette Conrad. She is exceptional and exceeds the descriptions above. She goes the extra mile for her students and her patients. She made me and other students feel heard and well-supported long after passing her class. She has cheered us on into our last semester and gifted hand-written notes of encouragement. She has assisted others with job opportunities and provided heartfelt letters of recommendation. Jeanette is someone I am extremely grateful for, someone so intelligent, and someone the IUSON should be so grateful for. Her kindness shines through her willingness to help her students in and outside of class. She is an educator, a support person when times are tough, and someone I look forward to calling my peer in the future. Jeanette Conrad is the perfect example of a leader, and compassionate caregiver, and one I confidently believe deserves this recognition.
