Jennie and I were attending a fitness class at NorthBay's HealthSpring Fitness Center. A gentleman in our class ended up having chest pain and needed assistance. Jennie took immediate control of the situation. She made a decision to call 911 and asked me to get the AED after she assessed our classmate. Jennie stayed with the gentleman and his wife until EMS took him to VV-ED. She then took the wife to the ED and drove the wife's car over to the ED for her.
The patient was admitted and transferred to NorthBay Medical Center. Jennie remained so calm and reassuring for the patient and his wife in an emergency situation. I am so proud to work with her.
