Jeanette McCommon 2, RN

Jeanette is one of the most compassionate nurses I have ever had the privilege of working with. She is a PCC on the 4th floor and despite not having patients assigned to her she goes above and beyond for all the staff as well as the patients. She always immediately does admissions when the patient first arrives during her shift. This ensures the patients new to the unit immediately see a friendly face and are met as soon as they arrive versus having to wait till the admitting nurse gets a moment to check on them. This also frees up the nurses to care for their patients as needed. She also always assists in any crisis that is occurring and is very knowledgeable and helps keep the floor nurses from getting overwhelmed especially when we have 5-6 other patients that still need our care. No matter how difficult the patient is she always gives compassionate care.
