I was really scared of giving birth to my first child, and I also had a goal of a natural delivery, even though I have a low pain tolerance. Jeanette was so supportive during my entire labor process, and she empowered me beyond belief! She assured me I was strong and capable of giving birth naturally. She kept me fully informed on how dilated I was and what to expect next. And during the time when I felt I couldn't take the pain anymore, she provided me with exceptional information on my options to support with decreasing the labor pains.

After a lengthy conversation, I decided to continue my natural labor, and she continued to give superb support. She walked me through my breathing and supported my partner in giving me massages. While I gave birth, she gave me a ton of support regarding pushing and let me know when I was crowning. After I gave birth, she told me how much of a warrior I was and that she was so proud of me. She had me up and walking within 3 hours of giving birth, and I felt completely fine! She even came to check on me and my child after the birth in the postpartum unit. She made my birth experience a positive and proud moment for me. She was so amazing, thoughtful, and supportive. I am beyond grateful to have had her on my team.
