Jeanie Holbec, RN

Jeanie was working with a patient who was initially very agitated – suffering from significant mental health issues. Throughout the shift, she was able to establish a positive rapport with him. She provided reassurance and redirection when it was needed. She was able to calm his agitation and make him smile. With the positive connection she made with him, she was able to trim his nails and get him to shower. This is the kind of care that makes patients feel valued.
