I was in Samaritan Hospital for 10 days. Jeanine was my nurse for several of those days. Even when she was not assigned to my room, she would stop in and see how I was doing. When assigned to another floor and knowing I was scheduled for a procedure, she would always call the floor to see how I did. If I asked a question, she would make sure I would understand the answer.
If my wife was not present when one of my doctors was in to talk to me, Jeanine would take the time to talk to my wife and explain everything that was said. She always acknowledged my wife, mother, or any visitor that was visiting. Jeanine was no-nonsense, straight forward and mutual respect was immediate.
I truly believe that Jeanine cares about the wellbeing of her patients. They are not just a room number or something to get through a shift to her. Feeling confident with the people caring for you makes a hospital stay less stressful and less frightening. That's exactly the experience I had with Jeanine French.
