The family of a critically ill patient that Jeanne Hess was providing care for nominated her for the DAISY Award. They wanted to express their gratitude for the care she provided to their loved one during his final days. Through this difficult time, Jeanne was there for both the patient and the family members of the patient. The family quoted, "No words can express our appreciation."
