Jeanne Losurdo, RN

She spoke to my little one with such gentleness, patience, and compassion — getting down to her level, explaining things in a way she could understand, and finding ways to make her smile in the midst of fear and uncertainty. Jeanne was so caring and patient with our daughter, who was in a lot of pain. She brought her stickers, told her stories, and helped calm her after an hour of screaming. During X-rays, my daughter asked for her, and Jeanne was happy to help. Today, she called just to check on our daughter and see how she is doing.

Jeanne wasn’t just clinically excellent — she cared for my daughter as if she were her own. Her kindness turned a traumatic experience into one of comfort, trust, and healing.

It’s hard to put into words how much it meant to have a nurse like Jeanne by our side. She represents everything that is good about nursing: a healing hand, a listening ear, and a heart full of compassion. We will always remember the difference she made in our lives.
