While in the recovery room, the night shift going into the day shift, you would think Ms. Jean Pierre would leave. Even though she was tired, she stayed with me. She kept me focused and took care of everything I needed.
At one point, a doctor tried to come and check my surgical part without washing his hands. She stood her ground for me and protected me and taught him the right way to go about checking a patient and the importance of cleanliness in a hospital. She is a brave, kind, and compassionate nurse for whom I will be forever grateful. There should be more focused, hardworking, dedicated nurses like her around.
