I recently delivered a beautiful baby boy at Marian. I wanted to reach out to let you know what a positive impact Jeannie had on my experience, not only at Marian but for my pregnancy and labor. My husband and I attended all of the new parent classes with Jeannie as we do not have any relatives who are alive/able to provide us with pregnancy/delivery/newborn insight. We went into this process without knowing a thing and knowing we would be on our own when it came to the baby. Jeannie's classes were SO HELPFUL! To this day, we come across things and we remember what Jeannie said and we are so grateful. I ended up having very quick labor and did not have time for any type of pain medication. The only thing that got me through the pain was Jeannie's words about living in the moment and only focusing on breathing and getting to the end of each contraction. I also ended up having issues breastfeeding and was unsure where to turn. Jeannie jumped on a Zoom call with us and helped us get an appointment with lactation. To say that Jeannie goes above and beyond is an understatement. Her contributions are priceless and she makes such a positive impact on others in her role. I am sure your organization is aware of her value but, I wanted to send a reminder because my husband and I will be forever grateful for her.
