Besides his phenomenal clinical skills, Jeff has to be the most compassionate soul I have ever met.
My two-year-old, C, was experiencing some definite traumatic issues after having a kidney transplant. He would get so upset and anxious whenever anyone would come into his room. When he heard the glass door slide open, he would immediately begin to cry and scream "all done". All he wanted was for them to be finished with anything they may be coming to do with him.
Jeff, being aware of C's anxiety would sneak as quietly as he could into the room and crouch down to crawl across C's floor. C never saw him come in. He would then proceed to take care of all of C's needs while crouched down below C's eye level. This literally made me cry! He was constantly consoling C and telling him all would be alright. Jeff Brown is our hero!
