Jeff Flinner, RN, CCRN

Jeff Flinner responded to a rapid response call for my brother. It appeared he was having a possible seizure. He had gone nonresponsive, his eyelids fluttering, arms shaking, eyes rolling back in sockets. Jeff responded quickly and quietly. As Jeff approached it was as if he was parting the red sea of nurses to whom all had responded. The reason was that the patient's BP had dropped significantly. All in the room were able to stabilize the patient and restore the patient's BP. Jeff's response was "be quick but don't hurry," John Wooden's motto. Jeff kept everything calm and did an outstanding job.
