Jeff Goss, RN

Jeff Goss is a nurse in the Emergency Department. He does his job, and does it very well.

One morning in the ER, Jeff was discharging a homeless patient that we see frequently in our department. Upon discharging this patient, Jeff noticed that he was not wearing shoes. Jeff attempted to search for some shoes in our volunteer-donated items and was unable to find any. Without hesitation, he took the shoes off his own feet and gave them to the man. Jeff then proceeded to do his job while wearing surgery booties until someone was able to bring him some shoes.

Jeff is a selfless, humble man who literally gave the shoes off his feet to someone in need. He truly follows our mission: “Through our exceptional health care services, we reveal the healing presence of God.”
