There was a code/stemi at the beginning of the AM shift. Jeff was very calm and very helpful during the code situation. I had 8 GCU students on the floor. We stood in the hallway as the students desperately wanted and needed to observe. Jeff Zuege and Dr. L allowed the students to observe compressions on this patient. This was such a perfect experience for all of the students. He was very intelligent and taught the students post mortem care. I am an ED nurse and a clinical instructor for GCU and I was so impressed by the teamwork displayed by Jeff. Jeff was calm and the code was so organized when Jeff stepped into the room. Jeff is a fantastic nurse. He went out of his way to create a positive experience for my nurses. During the post-conference, the nursing students all commented on his character and skills that he showed them throughout their clinical day. Please tell this nurse, Jeff, that the GCU students will remember all that he did to make this the best clinical experience they have had. Most of the nurses want to do what Jeff does, which says a lot about your nurse.
