He made him and the entire family comfortable in a very trying situation. He explained everything very carefully so that we would not feel nervous about anything that was going on.
My dad had to have a quadruple bypass. We did not have a lot of time to process what was going on or research ahead of time. Everyone at the hospital was extremely helpful but his nurse went above and beyond day after day. This nominee was my father’s nurse for his first days out of surgery. He was there when they brought my dad out and was for each of the following day shifts. He treated my dad with care and compassion beyond belief. He took care of his medical needs, listened to his stories, and answered his questions. My dad is 81 and can retell stories. The nominee never appeared uninterested, irritated or even rushed. He listened to every word he said and answered every question. I am one of three daughters. My dad had a revolving door of companions, and he answered all of our questions and reassured us that we could handle what was ahead of us. He showed patience for our mom, who was overwhelmed at times. I don’t know how my dad couldn’t have made it through without this nominee’s medical expertise, but beyond that, he is an amazing, gifted, and compassionate human. I will never forget what this man did for our family.

This nominee is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! He took unbelievable care of my father while he was in the ICU! He was patient and attentive and answered all questions we had! Knowing that he was there made my family feel more at ease, leaving my father at the end of the day! There are NO WORDS that will adequately express how grateful we are to have him! He deserves this award and more!
***
He treated my Father-in-law with the utmost care and attention! I have been to many hospitals with my own parents and was blown away by his professionalism, as well as his ability to put my wife and her family at ease! He is extremely worthy of this award!

Jeffree provided the most spectacular care for my husband. He made him and the entire family comfortable in a very trying situation. He explained everything very carefully so that we would not feel nervous about anything that was going on. His smile was infectious. He became more like family than a hospital nurse. The ICU is absolutely blessed to have him working on the floor. He made our stay as easy as it could possibly be. His interaction with the other staff was exemplary. Nothing was too much trouble.
