Jeffrey is doing a great job as our director. He is not only a patient advocate but an advocate for all of his nurses on MST. He has an open door policy and he encourages us to come to him day or night and he truly means it. He encourages us and our growth which has been such a blessing. He came into a role where he had never worked and took our advice and has worked side by side the nurses of med-surg and broadened his skills as well.
The other night I was charging and we had a nurse fall sick and I could not find coverage so Jeffrey came in and worked out the remainder of the shift with us. I think that shows what kind of nurse and director he is.
He has helped me grow and learn since the time he has come on board; what an asset he is to our team. His encouragement and faith in me has opened up so many doors and has helped me to become a better nurse and leader.
