My 82-year-old dad was in the ICU for 5 days, and on day 4 of recovery from heart surgery, we were discharged to find out that he needed a pacemaker as his heart rate was not going above 30. We were not only warned but confused as this had not been talked about before. Jeff reassured us and, while in the waiting room, went above and beyond to make sure we were updated as the Surgeon was an hour late, which eased our minds. But the biggest thing was when he came back from surgery and Jeff was thorough in his explanations, sweet with my dad and answered all of our questions. He knew how worried we were about him and instead of making us feel bad about consistently checking in, he made our questions and concerns feel heard and welcomed. Thank you for making sure he got through his second procedure and always making sure all of us felt better with the needed procedure and extra days. Jeff is a true example of compassion going a long way in helping the family through the process. A million Thank Yous!!!!
