He helped me, listened, offered solutions, and was both helpful and relatable.
Mr. Jeff Lemmon is an amazing person! I have really been struggling mentally and physically because of my service-connected disabilities, and I came to the VA a week or two ago. I didn't have very high expectations due to the care and results I've received from the VA so far. To the extent that I had to dig to the deepest part of my existence to even get the courage to just walk into the VA that day. My depression had kept me from getting out of bed for 2 days leading up to that visit. The anxiety, depression, paranoia, PTSD, etc, from walking in there and being around people had me overwhelmed to the point that I was in a bathroom stall at the VA, crying because I was overwhelmed from all the feelings. When I got to the front desk, I was greeted by Mr. Lemmon, and our interaction was everything to me.
He was very reassuring, he listened and was very calming, relatable. I was spinning because of these reasons, and I was hurting due to my physical ailments. He helped me, listened, offered solutions, and was both helpful and relatable. He has world-class customer service and is the standard for what I believe everyone at the VA facility should be. He is an amazing person, and his care that day meant the world to me. I'm lying in bed, crying as I'm typing this because the help and care he provided me that day meant that much. He probably has no idea how much he helped me, but I want you to know what an amazing teammate you work with daily in Mr. Lemmon. He is truly a phenomenal person, and I appreciate him and his care. Thank you, and please let me know if there's anything I can write to help him receive recognition for his exceptional care and support.
