By far, Jehad Saleh is the best nurse I have ever had taking care of me. He was very kind to me and my friend, he made sure we were comfortable. Jehad was very professional but yet very personable in the same breath. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything he was about to do. He was very respectful to my privacy even knocking at the door every time he entered.
I took the time to explain to him about my previous experience; to my surprise he made no excuses, just apologized and assured me he would make the rest of my stay pleasant.
I was extremely upset about a family member's actions to the degree that when he was routinely getting my blood pressure and it was 158 over 114. He explained that it was not so good and asked why it was so high. While waiting for him to take it again I explained to him the incident that just happened; it was upsetting to the degree my head began to ache. He listened very attentively; he helped to calm me down, took my vitals again and it was like 138 over 96 to my surprise.
Jehad Saleh lives in the real world and treats his patients as he would want to be treated. He is very genuinely kind and appears to really enjoy his job. He went above and beyond my expectations and salvaged my experience here. He is very respectful, courteous and professional, but mostly he is human.
For me its people like Jay who value their position and are very committed, that makes Tampa General one of the best hospitals I have ever been in. He accents the prestige and excellence that makes this hospital is what it is today.
