The night I was admitted, Jehan was empathetic and kind despite the almost midnight admission. She was attentive to my needs and anticipated them. She is an example of passion for her work. Days later, she still remembered me when she was assigned to my care. She upheld the hourly check-ins and was quick to tend to my needs despite her multitude of other obligations. Being a Director of Nursing myself, she is what I would want every one of my nurses to be: compassionate, caring, kind, patient and has a passion for her job. Despite my very limited ability to speak due to asthma, she was able to understand what I needed. She is very deserving of more than just my words of appreciation. Nurses with her level of dedication deserve acknowledgment to thank them for their hard work, dedication and unswerving passion for her patients. Nursing is the hardest most rewarding work yet weary line of work. Jehan, thank you for your service!
