Having my husband in the hospital with pneumonia was scary- always having the threat of COVID-19 in the back of my mind. He was so sick and I could tell he was also concerned about being hospitalized. On Tuesday, a ray of sunshine walked into his room- his nurse for the day- Jen. It wasn’t long before I saw a smile on B’s face and watched him interact with Jen and her humor!! Jen answered all of our questions and was reassuring with a dose of laughter given along with his meds! Jen’s caring spirit for B’s recovery and her positive attitude was just what B needed. While all of the nursing staff was amazing it was “Nurse Jen” who shined above them all!
