Jen is extraordinarily perceptive. I was humiliated and this experience was overwhelming. She was very busy but recognized my distress. She just stopped and talked with me. She taught me how I could get help without imposing. She explained how things worked and this helped calm my fear. She taught me how the system worked and how to make the most of it. She gave me hope. Most of all she respected my body. I had lost some control and she was not swayed by anything. She was very gentle, did not rough me up and did not rush. She did not act inconvenienced. She was like a rock in a storm. She treated me as if I was important and valued. She came quickly when I needed help and I was able to feel more in control of my body. She was fast and highly efficient. She was busy and had a lot to do but handled it with joy. She never made me feel like I was a bother to her. She was also this kind gentle person with my roommate. She let me do things myself while others had their work to do and wanted to do things for me.
