I was admitted to the hospital because of PPROM and had to stay for almost a month until I delivered. I had to be away from my son that entire time, and I wouldn’t have survived without Jen. She was the only nurse to truly keep me sane.

I've truly struggled with my mental health a lot while being inside these walls and worrying about delivering my baby. Jen was always quick to come when I called. She genuinely cared. She would talk to me and was the most emotionally supportive person I had while under her care here at IU. She went above and beyond her regular duties and has truly been there every step of the way, going out of her way when I was struggling with high blood pressure due to stress. My blood pressure instantly stabilized when she was around because she truly just made me feel safe, heard, calm, and comfortable, too.

I could honestly write so much about her and brag about her all day. She wasn't just a nurse to me but became a friend, too, and I appreciate her more than she will ever know. Everyone truly deserves a Jen.
