My brother and I had both parents admitted at the same time on 1South and 3 South. Jen made sure she was the Palliative Care nurse for both parents to simplify the coordination of care. Our Father has stage 4 Lung CA with mets to the bone and she handled difficult conversations with incredible compassion. She helped us handle some of life's most difficult decisions with care, compassion, a shoulder to cry on, and getting us extra help when we needed it. She is the embodiment of what a nurse should be.
