Jen is a nurse working in the NICU and was asked to float to the Mom/Baby Unit. It was an exceptionally busy day and we were understaffed. Jen was designated as a "helper". The amount of "help" and support she provided was remarkable.

Jen did FIVE transitions. This is not an easy task for a charge nurse who is trained to do transitions yet Jen completed all five transitions calmly and efficiently. When done with a transition in labor and delivery, she would return to the mother/baby unit and ask what she could do to help. She gathered supplies, assisted in setting up photo therapy for two babies, checked blood glucose levels on high risk babies, helped take vital signs and helped with patient teaching. She was a great resource for us.

Jen's attitude was amazing. She was friendly and so positive. Our day was much less stressful thanks to all Jen's help.
