Jenae Stein, RN

Jenae is compassionate and took the time to explain the hospice process and what to expect. She connected with my wife, listened well, took her questions and concerns in stride, and tried to put her at ease. Jenae probably spent a little more time with my wife due to visitation schedules and developed a closer relationship, sharing personal details of life. She put my wife at ease, completed the examinations at my wife’s pace, and explained everything she was doing as she went. She also took the time to explain what we might encounter as death approached. Jenae was on-call early Sunday morning when my wife passed away. Visibly emotional, she took everything at our pace, allowing me to help clean and get my wife ready for Barbot Funeral Home pickup. She took the time to let friends and family say final goodbyes and farewells before calling the funeral home. Jenae was a true professional and left a lasting impression on us. She deserves a humanitarian award for what she does and sees every day in her mission to help families. Thank you!
