A letter was received by a patient after he received an outpatient procedure. He stated, "Hello, in December of last year, I underwent a colonoscopy at RGH. I am writing to thank you for the excellent care I received. The nurse was highly skilled and caring. She interacted easily and pleasantly with me and was always attentive. She treated me like a unique person and worked continuously for my comfort. Her good humor was especially comforting to a nervous surgical patient. I want to thank her and her co-workers for making an unpleasant situation as pleasant as possible through their professional yet very personal care.
