Jency is known for always going above and beyond for all of her patients. One day, she happened to notice a child in severe respiratory distress in the waiting room. Jency literally saved the patient's life by activating the rapid response team and maintaining the baby's airway. However, this is the least of what Jency has done.
We have witnessed her chase after a discharged family who was on their last dime after being laid off and she gave them enough money to pay for their child's prescription meds. We have seen her tirelessly work a bake sale to donate for the Cartagena Mission. She even volunteers to clean up the streets just outside of the hospital! Jency's legacy is tangible in the way she treats each child as if they were the only ones that mattered!
The families love her and she always gets nominated for a patient satisfaction award. Her coworkers also love her to pieces!
