Jenelle Aspinwall, RN

I am nominating Jenelle for a DAISY Award for her dedication and her compassion for patient care. Anytime I see Jenelle working in the ED, I see her caring for some of the most acute patients in the department. Her energy and critical thinking skills make her an absolute superstar. Her dedication to the health care team is evident at the end of each of her shifts. Jenelle is always reluctant to leave when the department is busy. Her dedication is not only for her patients but also for her coworkers. There have been shifts that I must assure her that we are OK and that she can go home and get rest so she can come back the next day. Jenelle has a keen eye for the little details and things that others may overlook. Her devotion to bedside care for the patients is the perfect mix of seriousness and humor. I kid her about her inability to stop caring for a patient because she doesn't feel like she's done enough. Even when the patient is doing better. 100% heart of gold!
