My friend E had a massive heart attack and was subsequently admitted to the SICU. As you can imagine, we were all very afraid. His nurse, Jen, was amazing, beyond amazing. She was attentive and patient with us. She answered our incessant questions with clarity and at a level that we could all understand. She was excited to see when he was making progress and cried along with us. Her level of compassion and care far exceeded what we needed. She is an asset to the SICU team, and it was an honor to have met her.
