While the entire staff provided excellent care for me during my recent stay at Lourdes, Jenn stood out to me with her kind smile and genuine compassion, reassuring me during my own crisis. My health issue had struck fear in me as I arrived by ambulance into the ER. Quite simply, I was afraid. Fear is not a common emotion to me, so I'm not sure I reacted well to the interruption of my life.
Other staff members cared for my needs, but it seemed to me that Jenn had a presence about her that touched the chords of my heart, bringing me reassurance that all would be well. She took the time to communicate to me what she was doing. Her gleaming smiled brightened the day for me. While my situation was not as serious as most on that floor, it was concerning to me and my wife, and Jenn helped us by treating me with the same care as those who were more serious than me. I wish for her great success as she continues to pursue a great future in patient care.
