The family of a recent patient wanted to recognize Jenna Early for her amazing care of their grandfather who was in our ICU with COVID-19. He lost his fight with this disease, but they wanted to share how Jenna impacted his life and will forever be in their hearts and minds. Jenna not only delivered compassionate care, but also went above and beyond to give our grandfather everything he needed.
Jenna sat with him as he was dying. She prayed the rosary with him, and held the phone as he said his last words to his wife and took his last breath. Even though they were not here physically, Jenna made sure that he was not alone as he passed and made sure his wife was right by his side virtually. Jenna's comforting touch and caring nature was strongly felt from the family, even though having never met her. The family cannot express their gratitude enough for having her as his Nurse during his most vulnerable hour. The family said,"Thank you, Jenna, for answering the call to care even in the midst of this pandemic. You are loved!"
