Jenna Gurera, RN

Jenna Gurera RN was recognized by a mother and father of a baby that was in the NICU. These parents had previously lost a baby, and were terrified when their son had to be placed in the NICU right after birth. Jenna connected with the parents with frequent updates, notes, and whiteboard updates when they were unable to be in the NICU. Jenna encouraged the mother to get rest and food after her recent cesarean section. They praised Jenna for her compassion and kindness in a situation where they were terrified and worried. Jenna RN displayed our Mercy values through her compassionate actions and connection with this patient and family!
