Jenna Lengfelder, RN

Jenna is an awesome nurse and is outstanding for her kind, compassionate manner, attention to detail, and ability to persevere when the going gets tough. Most of her patients don't know what an excellent clinician they are since they have been asleep for the majority of Jenna's time with them. Recently, Jenna went home early on call, and was an eyewitness to a rollover accident on the highway. There were multiple patients ejected from the vehicle, and one of the cars involved was dangerously close to an electrical box. Jenna, who is a new graduate nurse, was able to triage multiple patients, alert other passersby of the danger of the electrical issue, and start to give lifesaving treatments until EMS arrived. She displayed remarkable courage, amazing leadership, and a level of human compassion that is not often found in this world. I would like to recommend Jenna for the DAISY Award for her amazing work inside AND outside the hospital!
