So far, I have been on 2E for 5 days. Doctors are still trying to figure out what's wrong. I had been depressed before coming into this place but being this sick and nothing changing, I haven't slept in 4 days. The depression has lifted a lot because Jenna shows so much love for her job by going out of her way to care for me. She makes extra time to chat and listen. She's genuine with a heart that works hard to heal people both physically and emotionally. She has given me a new attitude toward the situation.
I appreciate Jenna taking the extra minutes when she could be taking a small break yet instead, she listened to what I was going through. The struggle of getting off drugs, staying clean for 2 plus years and getting my child back when she told me how proud she was that I had changed my life. I felt like a million dollars because I don't have a big support system, but even as I'm still admitted going through so many tests and things she's still walking past and stopping in to reassure me things are going to be ok. I think I'm on my 26th IV because it keeps blowing and she has gone out of her way to find someone to try again ASAP because of severe dehydration.
This time being admitted I must say all the nurses have been wonderful, but Jenna just has gone out of her way to show someone hurting so bad that there are other ways to look at your situation and handle what comes unto life without looking at the worst; I've come so far and I should celebrate myself all the time. Her work ethic is awesome, multi-tasking without it overwhelming her and making sure everyone is as comfortable as she can make us. Thank you for hiring her and allowing a nurse to not just try to fix my boo-boo but give me hope and show sincere compassion.
Once again, Jenna, you are awesome. Keep being a ray of sunshine. You come to work to do a job, but you're also changing peoples' lives. Thank you!
